How to start a newsletter business

Hi Reader,

My email list contains two types of readers.

The first type wants to earn money...by any means.

And they want to get paid immediately.

And they'll sacrifice their firstborn to do it.

They sometimes reply, in ALL CAPS, looking for cash.

Last week, I wrote about getting paid $573.75 for writing one email.

Pressing send on that email was like hitting a wasp's nest with a honey-covered stick.

The first type of reader responded en masse.

I could have written to them about dropshipping or trading crypto versus starting a newsletter business.

"Just tell me how I can earn it, " one reader demanded.

Another wanted to send me his bank details.

Another insisted we chat about payment on WhatsApp urgently.

The funny thing is I included a video in the same email explaining my newsletter strategy.

Now, the other half of my list?

They're interested in building a writing business.

And they get that running a newsletter is ONE way to earn money from writing.

But it's not a quick fix.

A newsletter owner still needs to start their newsletter, build their list, and write publicly every day (or at least every week).

They need to figure out their ideal audience and what they want.

In other words, sweat equity is required.

So, which type of reader are you?

If it's the latter, I'm running a Pro Writers Only workshop next week that you'll like.

The topic?
