Don’t listen to me

Hi Reader,

Many people dismiss my newsletter for writers because I’m just a random writer from Ireland.

After all…

  1. I don’t call myself an expert in any one field or niche
  2. I don’t have hundreds of thousands of followers on X
  3. I don’t dish out tactics or templates for going viral
  4. You won’t find any pictures of me giving a TED talk and handing out free copies of my books
  5. I’m not interested in winning writing awards
  6. I avoid prolificating personal development advice
  7. I’m not trying to build a fancy writing software
  8. I loathe 99% of AI writing apps
  9. I don’t flex on X about my traffic, views and stats
  10. I’ve a terrible sense of direction (a running joke in our family)

You’ll find other writers and content creators online who can do 1–9 better than me.

No, that’s not virtue signaling.

I wish them well.

I’m happy to learn from these creators, too.

I’ve bought some of their courses.

But, here’s what I can help YOU with.

Getting 1000 email subscribers and turning your list into a revenue-generating asset.

Get that many email subscribers, and you have a writing business.

Walter wrote in to ask, "Does anyone still read newsletters?"

A good question:

Substack (one popular place for starting a newsletter) has a $500m+ valuation.

I've interviewed several Substack newsletter owners who are killing it with their writing businesses, earning six figures yearly.

Newsletters aren't going anywhere.

It's just a shame more writers don't have one.

That's why I’m hosting the Pro Writers Only: Get 1k Email Subscribers in 30 Days workshop this Thursday.

I’m keeping it small.

It’s not free.

And it’s only for a select group of Pro Writers only.

And I’d like to invite you.

Write on,
Bryan Collins

PS You can only access the workshop by buying a ticket before Thursday.

I've no plans to publish a free version or re-run the workshop. However, I'll record the workshop if you buy a ticket and can't make it.
