Why "Value, Value, Value" is Killing Your Business

Hi Reader,

A common online trope for creators?

Give away 95% of your best ideas.

At first glance, this advice works.

If you publish valuable content consistently, you’ll get hundreds, if not thousands, of impressions, likes, and shares.

I did this for a few years with SEO and on Facebook.

But giving away value, value, value attracts two types of people: beginners and tire kickers.

Beginners devour value content.

They’ll line up like hungry dinners at a buffet, devouring all you’ve got.

They’ll like, comment, and share.

They’ll even email and say thank you.

But they’ll rarely buy.

They don’t have an appetite (or money) for your paid offers.

And tire tickers?

They’ll happily try your stuff, grumble, and move on to sample another creator.

I discovered a better content strategy.

One that’s far more satisfying.

Give away the What.

But charge for the How.

For example, most online business owners know they should create content.

But they’re asking themselves:

“What type of content should I create or write about?”

That’s where you step in.

On your socials or email, explain What your ideal clients should write about.

But...

Hold off on those tutorials, explainers, guides, and walkthroughs.

You’re going to charge for the How.

And you only need to attract a few fine diners who need help with the How.

I’ll show you How to do all of this inside Pro Creators Only.

It’s a new program designed to get you earning an extra $5k to $10k a month, every month, with a single hybrid offer and funnel.

A large audience or going viral not required.

It’s not a course. It’s a method for taking your existing audience and turning a few into clients.

I’ve limited these spots to 10 for this enrollment.

First, I’ll jump on a one-on-one call to help you build your offer and craft a plan for getting it in front of the right audience.

Second, I’ll help you implement the Pro Creators Only system into your business to set you up for recurring revenue.

Third, I’ll help you set up your content strategy to earn an extra $5-10k in
monthly profit.

Reply “CREATOR”, and I’ll send you the details early.

Write on,
Bryan Collins

Hi Reader, I started my email list years ago on MailChimp. I quickly discovered that monkey-branded piece of software is best for e-comm brands. I moved to Kit and spent dozens of hours testing parts of my newsletter, including subject lines, content formats, and segmentation. Oh, how I geeked out on segmentation. Most of these types of tests did little for my business. Take list segmentation It's a powerful strategy for some creators. But, it's also a black hole of hard work. I got sick and...

A pile of newspapers stacked on top of each other

Hi Reader, Most creators and business owners are chasing the latest AI tools and bots for content ideas. After dropping the kids off at school, I spend ten minutes reading an odd website from the 1990s: the Drudge Report. Matt Drudge set up the gossipy news aggregation website in 1995… before Google. It still attracts nearly one hundred million visitors every month. If you ever wasted hours agonizing over the look and feel of your newsletter or personal website, the Drudge Report looks the...
