My secret AI toolkit

I've spent the past few weeks geeking out AI coding. Here are a few tools I built with AI this week.

Custom Landing Pages

I replaced my expensive high-fangled landing page software with custom landing pages coded using AI. It took care of all the HTML, CSS and integrations for me.

These on-brand landing pages plug nicely into Kit and have some neat analytics. I’ll deploy these to Netlify and track analytics via Plausible. No more monthly recurring subscriptions!

Did I mention I’m not a coder?!

An AI News Aggregator

I got sick of wading through mainstream news and social feedback to keep up with the AI space. The space changes fast, though. So, with Cursor, I vibe-coded an AI news aggregator. I check this once daily to see what’s happening in the space. I mainly built this aggregator for myself, but have fun with it :) It gives me lots of ideas for newsletter topics to write about.

A Content Strategy

I started a local Irish newsletter on Ghost a while ago. I’m growing it with Facebook lead gen ads for 50 cents. I’ll take leads at that price all day long. I write about events, things to do, local attractions sort of thing.

But I was still unclear about my longer-term content strategy and the best way to combine free and premium content. So I created a dedicated Claude project and mapped out 90 days of content… and revenue generating offers! Now I know what to write and publish and when. It’s like having my in-house content strategist that never sleeps, needs time off, or sends in an invoice.

A Validated Offer

My primary offer at the moment is PromptWritingStudio. This newsletter course teaches creators and business owners the art of prompt writing.

I validated this offer a few months ago with a Google Doc. I spent the past few weeks creating a dedicated website. Now, I’m using AI to turn my lead magnet into an interactive prompt writing tool. You can test it here.

A Brainstorming Partner

I started writing a daily newsletter 14 months ago. I asked a virtual assistant to gather every newsletter I’ve written into a Google Doc.

The word count was 140,000+. That’s at least two books! I put the Google Doc into a Claude project and coded it to give me ideas for future newsletters. It’s like having a creative assistant.

Some of these AI use cases are technical and specific to my business model. Not everyone needs an AI news aggregator or custom landing pages.

But I’d wager you can easily find a few parts of your business that you can automate or run more efficiently with AI… and save money. Each AI tool you build doesn’t just save money once—it compounds over time like a smart investment. Your content strategy is a great place to start.
