I built a $5,000 web app in just 2 hours (without coding)
Content creators who ignore AI will be left behind. Sure, you can create without AI, but it dramatically cuts how long it takes to turn an idea into a finished product. And you can save a lot of money along the way. Here’s one example from my business: I can write an article and record a course or video reasonably quickly, with or without AI. Building apps for creators always stumped me though, as I’m not a coder. I took a few Codecademy courses years ago but don’t have the time or inclination to learn Python or C++ today. And yet, I regularly buy fun domain names from Namecheap, some of which would make for great apps and tools for creators. I rarely have time or resources to work on these projects, though. That’s changing. Sometimes, email subscribers ask me how they can analyze their content. I also regularly get questions about boring writing jobs like managing citations. Usually, I send them an article or a resource from my site. Now, I’ve something else to share: Last Tuesday afternoon, I experimented with Lovable (an AI-powered app builder). I used it to build a web app for analyzing essays and generating citations. You can test a beta of my web app here. I showed EssayAnalzer to a developer friend, and he said a professional would charge several grand for this type of work. It cost me $20 (the subscription price for Lovable). I’ve a running list of ideas for web apps like these that I want to build for creators and clients. Working through my list is more than achievable. A few of them could make for good products or micro-SaaS businesses. Perhaps you don’t care about building apps. Even still, think of these AI tools as a universal translator between your creative ideas and technical execution—you speak English, and it’ll translate your idea into code. All you need is the right prompt. I can help you with that. In PromptWritingStudio, I’ll teach you step-by-step how to use AI prompts to create content and products that would typically cost thousands to outsource. Check it out |
