I Track My Writing Like an Ancient Greek Strongman

Hi Reader,

Have you ever heard the one about Milo of Croton?

He was a famous ancient Greek strongman.

Of course, they’d no weights back in ancient times.

So, Milo got jacked by lifting a calf every day.

He lifted this unlucky calf from when it was born… until fully grown.

For those keeping score, a full-grown bull weighs over 510kg!

You see…

Strength training only works if the lifter overloads their system from one workout to the next.

Strong men (or women) in ancient times and today need a way of tracking their lifts.

Otherwise, how can they gauge their progress?

And so do writers and creators.

They need to track their content and see what’s working and not working.

Even more experienced writers and creators need an adaptable system.

One that shows if their hard work is paying off.

So, I built something for you that does just that.

I use this myself.

I built it in Notion.

And it's much easier to use than lifting a four-year-old bull.

Write on,

Bryan Collins

This is where you tell the AI tool who it is. “You’re a master storyteller” or “You’re Steve Jobs.” This puts GPT in the right mindset. Next comes the Task. Be specific about what...
