Behind the scenes: What I'm writing these days
I spent the past month or so on holiday in Spain and Germany with my wife and kids. In between trips, I scripted lessons for PromptWritingStudio. Each lesson is 500–600 words long and contains tested AI prompts and workflows for tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. One of the more practical course lessons covers how to turn AI into an editorial assistant—the kind you’d typically pay a few grand for. I spent 15+ years as a journalist, sub-editor, and copywriter for various newspapers and businesses in Ireland and the UK. So I enjoyed training AI on my knowledge of editing content. I use this prompt and associated project most days to edit my work before publishing or scheduling. A decade+ of journalism and copyediting experience in one prompt. It works nicely for short-form content… and longer-form content like articles and book chapters. PromptWritingStudio isn’t all text lessons, though. I also wrote a much longer blueprint for this course. It helps you quickly get up and running with AI in your business and explains how you can transition from a word wrangler to a Chief Idea Officer. I also recorded a behind-the-scenes walkthrough of how I’m using AI in my business. I show subscribers how AI acts as a type of business coach. It’s already saved me a few thousand dollars. I send out these lessons and workflows twice a week to members of PromptWritingStudio. You can read about it all here. |
